Our Asphalt Driveway Service Process:

While asphalt is highly durable, regular wear and tear and the local climate can damage the surface. And driveway sealcoating is one way that can lengthen the lifetime of your asphalt driveway. Below is our asphalt sealcoating process:

Site Evaluation
and Preparation
Begin by assessing the condition of the existing driveway. Remove any existing asphalt, dirt, or debris to prepare a solid foundation. Level and grade the area to ensure proper drainage.
Apply The Base
Layer
Lay down a layer of crushed gravel or aggregate to create a stable foundation for the asphalt. Compact the base thoroughly to ensure it’s firm and even, which will help prevent future settling.
Asphalt
Installation
Apply hot asphalt evenly across the prepared surface. Use paving machinery to spread and compact the asphalt, ensuring a smooth, durable finish. Make sure the asphalt is applied at the right thickness for the driveway’s usage.
Sealcoat
Application
Once the asphalt has fully cured (this may take a few weeks), clean the surface to remove any dirt or debris. Then, apply a sealcoat using a squeegee or sprayer to protect the asphalt from weather, UV rays, and wear.
Curing time
Allow the sealcoat to dry completely before using the driveway. This typically takes 24 to 48 hours. For optimal results, avoid heavy traffic on the driveway for at least a few days after sealing. This process ensures a long-lasting, well-protected asphalt driveway.
